Roles & Responsibilities

Selected CMLEAD Fellows will work alongside officials from Samagra Shiksha, DERT, and District Education Departments to support planning, coordination, monitoring, and implementation of educational initiatives across Meghalaya.

Key Responsibilities

  • Programme Implementation: Assist in planning, execution, monitoring, and tracking of educational programs at district and state levels.
  • System Coordination: Facilitate collaboration among DERT, DIETs, Samagra Shiksha, and district education offices.
  • Data & Monitoring: Analyze programme and student learning data to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Field Engagement: Conduct school visits and interact with teachers, school leaders, and district officials.
  • Documentation: Prepare reports, field insights, best practices, and implementation learnings.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

  • Applicants must be between 22 to 35 years of age as per applicable norms.

Educational Qualification

  • Postgraduate degree in any discipline
  • OR Graduate degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in education, development, governance, public policy, or allied sectors

Preferred Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Basic data analysis and interpretation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively for field-based assignments
  • Experience with government systems or education programs will be preferred
