The Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) is a public-private initiative established in 2006 to strengthen public health education, research, and policy development in India.

The recruitment is being undertaken for the India Primary Health Care Support Initiative (IPSI), led by Johns Hopkins University with AIIMS Delhi as the key India partner. Job Responsibilities

Selected candidates will support field-level research and project implementation activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect qualitative data using approved topic guides during field visits.
  • Transcribe qualitative data into the local language and translate it into English.
  • Conduct qualitative data analysis using computer-assisted qualitative analysis software or manual methods.
  • Coordinate and follow up on data collection activities with field supervisors.
  • Maintain project reports and provide regular updates to the Principal Investigator (PI) and project team.
  • Perform additional project-related or institutional responsibilities assigned by the PI.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Essential Qualification:

  • Master’s Degree in Public Health (MPH), Social Work (MSW), Development Studies, Psychology, or allied disciplines.

Experience Requirement

  • 3 to 5 years of active experience working in community and research-based projects.

  • Familiarity with the geography and health system of West Garo Hills district.
