Post-Wise Vacancy Details

1. Senior Consultant – Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E)

  • Age Limit: Below 50 Years
  • Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 1,75,000/- to Rs. 2,00,000/- for 20 days of engagement per month
  • Contract Duration: 2 Years

Please note that engagement beyond 31 March 2027 will transition to a part-time framework consisting of:

  • 150 days during FY 2027–28
  • 75 days during FY 2028–29

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess an MBBS degree or a postgraduate qualification such as MD / MPH / PhD in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Demography, Development Studies, or related disciplines from a recognized institution.

Educational qualifications may be relaxed for exceptionally experienced candidates.

Experience Required

  • Minimum 7 years of post-qualification experience in monitoring, evaluation, and learning within health or nutrition programs
  • Experience in designing state-level M&E frameworks and leading evaluation studies
  • Prior experience with NHM or state government health departments is highly desirable
  • Field experience in hilly, rural, or Northeastern regions will be an added advantage

2. Junior Consultant – Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E)

  • Age Limit: Below 40 Years
  • Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 70,000/- per month
  • Contract Duration: 1 Year (extendable based on performance)

Educational Qualification

Candidates should possess a postgraduate degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or related allied disciplines.

Experience Required

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in monitoring & evaluation, data analysis, or public health program implementation
  • Experience working with health data systems such as HMIS
  • Prior experience with government health systems, NGOs, or development partners is preferred
  • Field experience in rural, tribal, or Northeastern areas will be an added advantage

Key Responsibilities

Senior Consultant (M&E)

  • Lead the design and implementation of state-level MLE frameworks, theories of change, and performance dashboards
  • Analyze routine data systems including HMIS, RCH Portal, LMIS, and MOTHER Dashboard
  • Present analytical findings to state leadership for evidence-based planning and policy decisions
  • Conduct process evaluations, rapid assessments, and institutional learning exercises
  • Mentor junior staff members and support capacity-building initiatives for district and facility teams

Junior Consultant (M&E)

  • Support implementation of monitoring and evaluation frameworks and reporting systems
  • Assist in maintaining dashboards, trackers, and analytical tools
  • Analyze routine health data and prepare monthly and quarterly reports
  • Participate in field visits, facility-level data validation, and data quality audits
  • Provide operational support for data entry, analysis, and reporting activities

Technical Skills & Competencies Required

Software & Data Tools

  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and PowerPoint
  • Experience using Power BI or Tableau for data visualization and reporting
  • Knowledge of R, Python, SPSS, Stata, or Claude Code will be considered advantageous
