MBMA Physical Education Instructor Vacancy 2026
MBMA has announced a total of 55 vacancies for the position of Physical Education Instructor under the MPOWER Project. Selected candidates will be posted across various blocks in Meghalaya and will work with adolescents through structured sports and physical education programmes.
Educational Qualification
Candidates applying for the Physical Education Instructor post must possess any of the following qualifications from a recognized Institute, University, or College:
- BPE (Bachelor in Physical Education)
- BPEd (Bachelor of Physical Education)
- MPEd (Master of Physical Education)
Preference will be given to candidates holding qualifications from institutions recognized by the NCTE.
Candidates should demonstrate high proficiency in at least one recognized sports discipline and possess the ability to train adolescents at foundational and intermediate levels.
Special preference will be given to Medal Winners who have participated in recognized Zonal, Regional, National, or International Championships.
Work Experience Requirements
Applicants must possess relevant experience in sports education, coaching, or youth development activities.
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in teaching or training adolescents in schools or community-based settings.
- Knowledge of rules, strategies, and tactical aspects of multiple sports disciplines.
- Ability to coach adolescents in more than one sport whenever required.
- Experience in organizing sports events, athletic competitions, recreational activities, or youth fitness programmes.
- Experience mentoring adolescents and promoting inclusive participation across all genders and physical abilities.
- Previous work with youth groups, community-led platforms, or school systems will be an added advantage.
