CSIR – National Physical Laboratory (NPL), New Delhi, is a premier laboratory under the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR). It is the National Metrology Institute (NMI) of India created by an Act of Parliament.
The laboratory works in advanced scientific and technical areas including quantum metrology, precision measurement, nano science & nanotechnology, environmental pollutants, bio-instruments, cryogenics, graphene, carbon nanotubes, and instrumentation.

Educational Qualification
Candidates must have:
- SSC / 10th Standard or equivalent with Science subjects and minimum 55% marks.
- ITI certificate or National/State Trade Certificate in the relevant trade.
OR
- 2 years full-time experience as an apprentice trainee from a recognized institution in the relevant trade.
OR
- 3 years work experience in the relevant trade in a Ministry/Department/Organisation/Public Sector Undertaking/Autonomous Body under Government of India/State/UT.

T2-02 Electrical
